Janis Akuna is a vice president and wealth advisor at financial services giant Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Ms. Akuna, who earned an MBA at the University of Hawaii, brings more than 35 years of experience to her role with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Before her current position, Ms. Akuna filled a number of management and executive roles with leading financial services companies. She also serves as the president of Andis Wines, one of the leading producers of premier wines in Amador County, California. Over her long and successful career, Ms. Akuna has developed a reputation for being a dedicated, problem-solving executive with expertise in client relations and a specialty in customer service.

When Ms. Akuna is away from the office, she enjoys reading. She is also very involved in her community and volunteers for several charities, including Meals on Wheels.
